War Rock is a tactical first-personshooter massive multiplayer online game with fast-paced gameplay where you will have to stay alive while fighting on land, sea or air.Before thrusting yourself in the heat of the battle, you will first have to choose your load-out from dozens of different weapons, field equipment and even power-ups. Several modes you can choose from will keep the interest for this game alive. The community is a very active one so always keep your eyes open for events (even sponsored ones) and tournaments. Whether you're driving high-tech vehicles or just running across the huge open maps, you must always be vigilant and try to spot the enemy before he spots you!

The game features deathmatch-based multiplayer modes, all of which feature objectives that must be completed in order for teams to win. Sessions end either when a team has reached a preset number of points, or the allotted time expires in which case the team with the most points wins. It should be noted not all the game modes are kill based. 

War Rock games are divided into five main modes of play: Close Quarters Combat, Urban Ops, Battle Group, Hero Mode, and as of 13 October 2010, Zombie AI mode. These differ in the size of the map, the number of respawns permitted and the availability of vehicles, with CQC being focused on small-scale infantry missions and Battle Group involving huge battlefields with some boats, humvees, helicopters, and jet aircraft. Objectives in the different game modes include capturing and defending key positions on the map, planting explosives on enemy targets, accumulating points in a team deathmatch-style game or a free for all match or can play in a zombie survival mode. For Urban Ops/Battle Group, there is also Conquest mode which can be played on several maps. 

The player’s performance is tracked with experience points and in-game money which players can earn several ways including defeating opponents, or completing objectives. As players gain experience, they will advance in level, allowing access to new weapons and items, which can be bought with money earned in the game. War Rock features a clan system, that allows members to engage in clan wars whilst representing their specific clans.

 1. The recent bug altering the sound effect of other player’s weapons is now fixed.
 2. Some remaining server communication issues affecting the F key command in Mist Mode are now fixed.
 3. Buffering the client or message box sizes could cause client crashes, this is now fixed.
 4. Bullets doing no damage in AI mode after taking ammo refill is now fixed.
 5. Sometimes, navigating between game windows quickly could cause the inventory counter to display 0/0 instead of the proper item count. This issue is now fixed.
 6. Scrolling the mouse wheel while playing the Mad Man class sometimes displayed a visual error and you view your guns in a given class. This is now fixed.
 7. The visual bug regarding the speed roll and Bunnyhop have been fixed.
