Pale Moon 26.0
Pale Moon is an Open Source web browser available for Microsoft Windows and Linux (with other operating systems in development), focusing on efficiency and ease of use. Make sure to get the most out of your browser!
Pale Moon offers you a browsing experience in a browser completely built from its own, independently developed source that has been forked off from Firefox/Mozilla code, with carefully selected features and optimizations to maximize the browser's speed*, stability and user experience, while offering a rich collection of extensions and themes (including compatibility with many Firefox extensions users have come to love and rely on).
Having trouble with the web installer or looking for other download options like an off-line installer, a package for a different operating system, Atom builds or portable version? Check the download menu at the top of this page!
Main features:
Optimized for modern processors
Safe: forked from Firefox and regularly updated.
Supported by a friendly, active community of users
Familiar, efficient, fully customizable interface (no Australis!)
Support for full themes: total freedom of any element's design
Support for easily-created lightweight themes (skins)
Smooth and speedy page drawing and script processing
Increased stability: experience fewer browser crashes
Support for many Firefox extensions (add-ons)
Support for a growing number of Pale Moon exclusive extensions
Extensive and growing support for HTML5 and CSS3
Many customization and configuration options
Able to import existing Firefox profiles with the migration tool
This browser, even though fairly close to its sibling Mozilla Firefox in the way it works, offers a different set of features. For example, if you need specialized accessibility features or integration of Windows' parental controls, then Pale Moon may not be a good browser choice for you.
With the current generation of Mozilla-based browsers, there are other differences between Pale Moon and Firefox that are more obvious and not just "under the hood": contrary to what Mozilla has done with their redesign of the user interface, Pale Moon will continue to provide a familiar set of controls and visual feedback similar to previous versions, including grouped navigation buttons of a decent size, a bookmarks toolbar that is enabled by default, tabs next to page content by default (easily switchable) and not in the least a functional status bar and more freedom in customization, to name a few things.
Top news:

Pale Moon is, and will always be, completely FREE to download and use! (Open Source and Freeware)
But, if you feel so inclined and if you enjoy the browser enough to help pay for bills for hosting and further development of the browser:
Changes in Pale Moon 26 Beta 2 (2015-08-26):
* All improvements and security fixes from Pale Moon 25.7
* To keep many useragent-sniffing sites happy, a “Gecko compatibility mode” has been added and enabled by default.
* You can toggle this with the pref general.useragent.compatMode.gecko in about:config. If enabled, it will insert the Gecko/20100101 slice in the useragent string.
* Ruby annotations support! To enable it, set browser.ruby.enabled to true in about:config and restart the browser.
* After restart, there will be an icon in your status bar that will allow you to tweak the annotations settings if needed.
* This functionality has been based on the great work done by Sakai135.
* JPEG files with EXIF orientation information should now all be properly sized and rotated when viewed stand-alone.
* Added a new preference to prevent Pale Moon from taking focus when launching a new tab from an external (non-Pale Moon) link.
* To use this, set browser.tabs.noWindowActivationOnExternal to true in about:config
* Fixed some border/background styling issues on Windows 10 (more to come)
